Belen Classic Car Show

The Malarsie family recently found out that the Classic Chevy Club of Albuquerque will be donating some proceeds from the following car show to help Michael on his road to recovery: (click on the image to make it bigger and easier to read)

This organization is strictly a non profit organization whose main objective is to help in the community whenever they can. Please come out to this event and support this great organization, Michael, and the TIX for Kids organization.

The fundraiser for Michael was such a success! We are so grateful to all those who pitched in and helped organize this. It was such a great day. From start to finish the arena was packed with people, all there to show their gratitude to Michael for his sacrifice. It was truly incredible to see all the people who were there. The Bosque Farms community came together in a way I have never seen and it was inspiring to see what a group of people can do for a good cause. We took so many pictures it was impossible to post them all. Thank you again to all of you who came out and supported the fundraiser and to those on the committee for all their hard work. Thank you to all the people and businesses who donated, we had so many amazing items and we were able to have a successful event because of all the generous donations made on Michael's behalf.

When we called Michael and told him about the fundraiser he was in awe and totally humbled that so many people would come out to support him. He is still so amazed by everyone's gratitude to him and we are grateful to all those who came to help us show Michael what a hero he really is. Thank you doesn't even begin to express how we feel but we hope everyone knows how grateful we are!

Merge onto I-25 S.
Take the NM-47 S exit, EXIT 215, toward BROADWAY.
Merge onto NM-47 S toward ISLETA/BOSQUE FARMS.
Turn RIGHT onto BOSQUE FARMS LOOP N.
Turn RIGHT onto ARENA RD.
This road dead ends into the Arena.

For everyone planning to come down and support Michael this weekend we thought we would give you all a little bit of a time line of what will be going on that day. Wounded Warrior Fundraiser:

We are so excited to announce that New Mexico celebrity Holly Holm will be coming to the fundraiser to show support for Michael!

'5'8" southpaw Holly Holm from Sandia Heights in Albuquerque, New Mexico was born on October 17 1981. The preacher's daughter grew up in Bosque Farms and graduated from Manzano High School in 2000 and studied for a year at the University of New Mexico. She played soccer and tried gymnastics, swimming and diving before getting into boxing and kickboxing.

She currently holds several welterweight titles and is highly regarded as the best female welterweight in the world. She also has been named Ring Magazine female Fighter of the Year, twice in consecutive years in 2005 and 2006. She is a big draw in her home town of Albuquerque having all but 3 of her fights there and one of her fights outside her home state of New Mexico. In June she became the undisputed welterweight champion and holder of belts from 140 to 154 by defeating former champ Mary Jo Sanders by decision. They fought a rematch on October 17 at the Palace of Auburn Hills in Detroit, which ended in a draw.
